Windows media player problem

    Hi all

    I recently bought a new computer which had media player already install and waiting for me. As i have an ipod i have installed itunes. Since doing this media player will not open at all. There arent any error messages with, it just ignores me.

    Any1 help?

    Do a system restore to a time when WMP was working correctly.

    or try this:

    Type cmd in the Start Search box above the Start Orb, and when cmd.exe appears
    at the top of the Start Menu right click on it and select "Run as
    Administrator"?


    Then type: unregmp2.exe /UpdateWMPVersion

    In the Command window and
    reboot?

    Is it Vista?

    There is a bug causing it to not open. Don't think there's a solution yet, correct me if I'm wrong.
