Windows Media Player

    hi when i click windows media player it shows the loading thing for a secound and then doesnt load???whats wrong
    PLEASE HELP

    im supposed 2 know what file ur trying to play wid that info, hmm its probably ur pc, slow?

    Im trying to open any music file and i just click windows media player on the start menu and it shows the loading thing and then just goes away. its not slow its a bran new computer 5 dayz young??????

    all you have to do is double click the music file and it will play.

    i did everything i restarted everything. When i click it,, it says error incountered i am having the same problems wit norton. it cant be the computer its a brand new computer got it last week!!. wut should i do?? i tryed reinstalling the program. deleting it then reinstalling it. that worked for a day. now its bak??? what should i do????

    ur music files are probably corrupt

    how do i fix them???and what about the norton antivirues is that corupt too?????

    what type of music files are they mp3, wav?
    you cant fix them, there corrupt. have you tried playing a music cd on wmp?

    it could still be ur pc... doesnt matter if itz brand new.

    They all are mp3 format. I dont have wmp i dont really like wmp anymore i use windows media player 10. I downloaded the songs. how do i fix this problem with my windows media player and norton antivirus being corrupted??????????????????

    get version 9. that will fix ur music problems.

    I cant delete windows media player 10. Should i just download windows media player 9. and what about my norton?????

    uninstall wmp10 and try v9.
    I dont no bout norton? Try reinstallin it.

    I CANT UNINSTALL windows media player for some reason it says the same error thing. and iv tried downloading 9 but it said advanced version on computer. Then i delleted and reinstalled norton like 1000 times and its still tha same thing?????????????????

    hey, i think maybe something just went wrong somewhere and it's time for a system restore. You can't have put too much on there in five days, anyway. Ta ta.

    I wish I could but when I went to mw web site to uninstall SP2 that caused my problems it realy crashed my system and deleted some windows comp. so I had to repair windows and now I have no recovery place at all and can not even update cause of some other ers....

    you never made a set of recovery discs or don't have any?

    No cause I did not expect it to happen, but now I'm running windows <working> but slow and no media
