whenever i decide to either log out or switch user, my windows account password changes for some reason and the other account i have which doesn't have a password suddenly gets one. I always have to restart the computer in order to return things back to normal until i decide to switch user or log off. Can someone help me with this? Another problem im having is on my other account (the one thats limited), pressing ctrl+alt+del does not open the task manager. How do i fix that?
Sounds like your PC may be infected. Download HijackThis to the desktop. Reboot into safe mode. Run HijackThis. Do a system scan and save a logfile. Post log here. See if MSCONFIG is also affected. Start>Run>type, MSCONFIG. Does it open?
thx a lot, gonna try all that now. As for the msconfig thing. Ya it opens when i type it into run. No problems there
ok, i found it. I did two scans and didn't know it would delete the previous log file. I did the second scan after fixing everything from the first scan. So i guess thats my loss but here is the log file from the second scan since its all i can give. This is not a complete logfile, much longer. Run HJK. When the Notepad window appears. Copy and paste the complete logfile from notepad to here. Let me know if you need assistance.
both of my problems seem to have stopped but something could come up later, dunno. Anyways, here is my log file.
