windows turning xp into 2000 or 98

    is it possible to instead of upgrade to vista can you downgrade to 98 or if not 2000 by like doing a complete memory wipe of the operating system can i do this if i have the cd for 98 or 2000

    yes it can be done but depends if there are drivers for win98 for the system.

    because i have 2 xp computers i would like to turn 1 into a 98 or 2000

    win2k is almost xp. use the slower computer to do the downgrade.
