windows update after cracked activation

I updated windows xp before i cracked it (within the 30 days grace period of activation). my question is this- will microsoft attempt to update windows again, see that it been cracked and has a key from one of my friends and come down on either myself or my friend? What can I do to stop microsoft from trying to update windows?
I'm a bit scared so could u please help.
