hi, im new to these forums but i didnt see this anywhere so i thought i would ask. is there is anyway around the windows validation? i just bought a new game and it says i need directX 9 and other updates.so i try to download it and it says i need to validate my windows copy. i try to validate and it says it cant validate it, and how it could be pirated software. i didnt know i had a copy of windows, because i had a friend build my computer. i cant seem to find a directX download anywhere else. please help me out if u can thanks.

That validation was pain in the ass for me even with my legal XP, at first it told me that my OS is pirate version but after few days it suddenly went through without any problems.
