I have tried to install various kinds of software on my Vista laptop and i am having lots of problems installing or running lots of different softwares because it is asking for administrator privileges although i have set my vista o/s so that i am the administrator. I have briefly read an article on a website that said that there was a way to change settings in the control panel in the administration tools icon but when i tried it the next step in the tutorial was not the same as on my system so i could not continue. If anyone has any thoughts on this matter i would very much appreciate your comments. Thank you. Marcus Allen.
you can turn the UAC function completley off and then you wont have to deal with clicking the ok, continue button each time u want to run a application that is set to administrator only.
