if i bought a new pc that came with windows vista, can i uninstall it and use xp?...i have heard that it cant be done...also with all the DRM that is built into vista..can you still use file sharing programs and burn dvd's ?...a friend of mine that has vista said limewire wont work on his vista system.
You could install xp if you really wanted to But the problem with that is that most things like the new halo 2 for pc are going to be made to run on vista only. Obviously we will get round that and run it on xp. As for limewire on vista i am not sure about that but i would imagine it will work on vista. You will definitely be able to burn dvds thats the basic use for a pc nowadays lol
limewire will work on vista, I am currently running vista home Premium and limewire works just great. You may have to change the destination path other than that works just as normal. You may also have to "allow" limewire through some of vista's new security crap before it will DL at normal speeds.
You're assuming that the game will run on just DirectX 9 files....if it requires DX10....well, you get the point.
