arghhhhhh . i have xp/vista dual boot machine. vista works fine but when i try to start xp it loads for a second then goes black then restarts. i can boot in safe mode with xp and works just fine . i tried system restore from safemode and wont work.is there any way i can fix this ?dont know what really happened i have symantec antivirs and tried to upgrade to f-secure after this i had this problem . maybe that caused this problem ? please help thanks again ...
Did you install Vista with a upgrade disc? If so a possible reason you could be having problems is that the upgrade uses your XP license for a Vista license and once that is done you can no longer use that license for XP.
