    okay,
i have a windows xp upgrade disc and after i use it,and windows installs, its all messd up,it wont recognize any devices like the computer would when you firt get it,and the screen was all messed up.
does anyone know whats going on?
also, i have a windows install cd, and the same thing happens.
i was wondering,is there anyway to make a windows install disc that will install windows with all your currrent programs and docs,so if i install it on a new computer, that comp will be like mine?

    thanks in advanced.

maybe you should look at getting the device drivers from the device manufacturers as xp does not load all drivers if it doesn't have it & especially an upgrade!

windows xp pro is close to 500 megs just by itself & you have to add some program lines to windows setup to add your picture. use what is referred as a backup program to backup all your programs.

somewhat as it makes a complete current copy of your hd onto cd/dvd disks at the time of burning.
