Windows XP Switch from Admin to Guest Account in Logon Screen-Changes Monitor!

Heres the deal: I have the administrator account on and the gust account on. I make sure BOTH have the exact same settings and resolution for display. When I switch (not log off but switch!) from admin to guest or guest to admin the screen acts like it changes its resolution. How annoying! Cause it takes time to redisplay the monitor. But the silly thing is that although my monitor flashes black and then goes to the normal screen, it NEVER changes the resolution or any settings. How can I get rid of this annoyance? Ive been able to (on other computers) switch from admin to gust accounts without the monitor ever changing.
