windows xp usb problem

    Hello , can anyone help please? I have rebuilt my pc its fully patched and has service pack 3 installed , its running at moment as it should however I have a usb problem which I think may be related to acronis 11 which I recently bought and installed to make a backup of my pc after I had major problems with it after six rebuilds id had enough , and ghost 14 wouldnt save an image with my anti virus suite in place! anyway Its a Rundl hotplug dll error everytime I unplug any usb device i get the following vent Type: Error

    a big red stop symbol appears whilst this doesnt appear to stop usb removal its very irritating and in your face , can anyone help I tried microsft community and whilst I posted a message I now cant get back into the site to post a reply to aresponses sigh just one of these days!!

    uninstall sp3 to see if that resolves that issue as sp3 has some issues with some computers.
