WinDVD creator no longer recognises my DVD-RW drive so I cannot burn DVDs directly. I have done this in the past so why is it not finding the drive now?
Did it previosuly recognize the same exact drive and is no longer doing the same? Does windows or another program detect it? If not, try changing the drive letter in your computer maintenance section. control panel/administrative tools/computer management/disk management right click on the drive to change letter. aslo have you tried nero? i loathe windvd creator. i use it and it just doesn't float my boat. EDIT I know this is silly, but have you tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it? Have you installed anyprograms recently that might interfere with it? if so, try doing a system restore to a previous date.
