I just got my matrix chip and I'm trying to flash the bios....none of my 3 computers (all with different MS OS's) would auto detect the programmer. How should I configure my LPT port settings properly?

Im not sure Inever had to go through configuring the port. I just connected the programmer to the back of my pc with the matrix hooked to it. I had to try it a couple times but it did work. And I also used a brand new battery. Anyhow here a link you may want to check out.

i had the same issue, first it would not be detected-solved the problem by switching out different batteries. the next problem was that the image was being transfered from the pc to the chip-adjust the transfer speed for the lpt port or buffer size. i would suggest using an OS that is pnp-compatible-win98/me/2k/xp.
