hi....i currently use winrar 3.30 to extract all my .rar files. Recently i have dwlded a 3 gb .rar file... and usually doesnt extract after .r43. I have tried numerous times, even though it dwlded completly without any errors. I have tries extracting multiple 2gb+ files... and usually stops after r.43. Is this a problem with my computer settings, program, or are there any other winrar-type programs? Thanks Yazz
My first guess would be that you have FAT32 as a file system. The largest file size that you can have is 4 gigs, but you said it was a 3 gig file which should be ok. NTFS supports much larger file sizes, but you need to be running XP, 2000, or NT to use NTFS.
