Hi I have a winrar file that is password protected ,and I have the password . The password is as follows password<TAB> the password with tab needs to be cut and paste from notepad because you can't hit tab in winrar password box. Those are the instructions that are given with the file I must be daft , I ve tried every which way to enter this into winrar to no avail . I copied the entire line of password<TAB> and i ve copied just TAB and even just the <TAB> portion , and just the word password This is making no sense to me , can someone please advise me further on this dilemma I find myself in . Since I appear real thic , can you please make it for dumies instructions , precisely as things should look from where my daft butt sits Cheers

I may not be 100% daft after all After a few days on my own , I finally post a thread for help , and within minutes the answer came to me as folow for any other folk needing this advice when prompted for password enter the word password ,and in a blank notepad hit tab key which will move over a few spaces , now tho u see nothing , hit edit-select all and copy ,and paste this next to the word password in winrar password prompt box Tho it may not seem so , posting here was still a help for me Cheers
