I recently bought a new motherboard for a computer that had its motherboard fried. I bought the same chip sets for the north and south-bridge that way I would not have to reinstall windows, but when I started up the new motherboard I was have trouble getting the network cable to register. I believe that there are driver conflicts and I just need to uninstall all the network drivers then reinstall the newest one from the web.

    The Problem:
After a few seconds the internet cuts out. To get it running again (for another few seconds) I use the cmd command "ipconfig /release" and "ipconfig /renew". I am using this command alot just to post this thread!

I have a wired network and I thank anyone for thier help.

    !!!UPDATE!!!
    My device manager says:

    and
I do have two network adapters but shouldn't read #1 and #2 instead of the #3 and #4. Just a thought!

Secondly, my torrents that I have running are both uploading, which is weird since I cannot connect to any websites.

Reboot to safe mode & delete all the realtek LANs there, this should allow you to install the drivers. Also, you might try setting your system to have a static IP adress. Last, you might consider an Intel Pro1000GT LAN card as it will work more reliably, without waisting CPU cycles.
