WIRED internet in my room?

    I just recently built a gaming PC, and now I want wired internet in my bedroom. I can use wireless if I have to, but I dont want to lag in my games or anything, so I prefer wired. How would I do this?

    if you have more than one computer in the house you are running a router.need to hook up to the router.if only one computer then you need a router.

    Also, some cable modems have multiple LAN ports on the back to allow several PCs to connect wired. If you only have one port, you might be able to switch your other PC(s) to wireless, and use that port for your room. If you have a router, just use that.
