I have a 54g(TM) 802.11b/g WLAN w/ 125HSM/SpeedBooster(TM) card in my computer. I was wondering what the Speedbooster does, and if it enables me to get the 108Mbps out of a Super G router or if Im stuck at 54Mbps?
yes you have to have a Router w/ Speedbooster to be able to utilize your Wireless PCI card w/ Speedbooster. On mine I connect between 108 and 125. I don't think I really get that, but it seems faster than the regular wireless g card.
ok i get what you are saying, but you did nto fully answer my question. i know i have to have a router with the speedbooster to take advantage of the speedbost feature, what i was asking is: Will I be able to connect at 108Mbps, or will i be stuck at 54Mbps?
??? ... the only company that offers Speedbooster is Linksys. Why don't you check out the linksys.com website. BTW, where are you coming up with Super G and Extreme G?
