can you use your wireless router to transmit demos or games to the ds using the download play like p2p software that runs a program on the computer that connects to the router
just wanted to make sure it wasnt just me and you cant use a router for that devs are trying but arent successful yet
Not with a router, but there's a method known as wifiMe that works with a specific chipset on wireless adapters. Here's a link if you're interested in doing some research. http://www.aaronrogers.com/nintendods/wifime.php
snowman<pick a number, any number> - you should stick to your schooling, then get a job, and in between, learn to behave yourself on forums instead of endlessly being annoying and posting utter rubbish
Read into it some more, and turns out it's just a wireless PassMe. I could've sworn it was able to send actual games and apps though. Ah well. My mistake. Guess there really isn't a way.
dont worry eventually someone will make a router able to do that who knows it could be me if im ever pushed to the limit lol
though it would be innovative, it wouldn't be worth your time. you would only be able to play those games within 30 ft of that router, no where else. DS is meant for portability so the flashcart would be the best way regardless of what comes out .. why do you think WifiMe isn't that popular?
There is a way to play homebrew over wifi using wireless cards witht he corrcet chipset, however it has too many drawbacks, such as the need to be near the device (as pakixd said), the filesize has to be under the DS's RAM, and the biggie - your DS needs to be flashed to play anything other than official Nintendo demos, so of course if your DS is flashed, you most likly have what you need to run homebrew without the wireless mess. http://www.dslinux.org/wiki/Wireless_Multiboot
no. Venom's is a wireless Passme. Wireless Multiboot allows you to run homebrew programs using DS Download Play
