hey all, I have a wireless adaptor and i am trying to connect my laptop to the internet (wirelessly). It starts to load the connection fine, but the status says 'acquiring network address' and it says this for a couple of minutes and then pops up with a message saying 'limited or no connectivity'. i really want my laptop to go wireless, i know all the codes for it but i cant find anywhere to put them. how can i get the connection working? ta for any help
I have a linksys that post the same (no conductivity), uplug the power cord for 30 seconds then plug back in, this works for me ever time.

what brand of wireless do you have? When I coneected my laptops to the wireless I had to connect first with a direct connection to the unit with a cable then set up the laptops.
linksys and cisco systems, i hav all the codes for the connection that i should be asked to enter but im not.....wer can i confirm these codes?
