wireless router

    hi how can i tell if my pc will accept a wireless connection

    I guess the first step would be to tell us what set up you have?

    Give us the approx age date
    Give us the specs of your system etc. If it's any help at all, "this" machine I'm on is windose '98 with a 2kpro update...can you read me ok? lol. The short answer is yes to your question but if you're having problems...list these also.

    It depends on whether the question is

    1)Will my PC, as is, connect to a wireless router or access point?

    If you have a wireless card, yes. If you don't no.

    2)Can my PC take a wireless card to connect to a wireless router or access point?

    Onya is correct, we would need to know a little more about your PC. Make/model and OS would be a good start.
