Ok, so I'm trying to hook up my wireless laptop with my main PC which is connected to the router.
The main PC is XP Pro and the laptop is XP Home. I've managed to get it to connect to the internet but the problem is that I want to trasnfer a few files via the wireless network to the laptop- but I dunno how, I've searched google and nothing worked.
Also, I've read that there is a way to share hard drives via the network- can anybody please explain how this can be achieved?
    Thanx in advance.

First of go to your network Neighbourhood and then go on the top left handside of the window and click Setup small office or home network" This will open a wizard that will take you the rest of the way.

Thanx, yet again a new problem has come up. Apparantly when I go to "My Network Places" and find the network group, I can actually see the Notebook and my own PC on the network, but if I try accessing the notebook on the network- I get a permission denied error :\ Both computers have administrative rights.

    Edit--
I have tried in SAFE MODE (with Networking) and the files are easily accessible via "My Network Places", if I try in normal mode, I get the above error. What's wrong with the permissions and how can I fix it?
