I have copied a number of CDs, LPs etc to DVD+RW or +R, compressed as WMA lossless. They will playback on computer eg Windows MP or Realplayer (using lossless codec) but not on a standalone DVD player despite the Windows logo that appears on many recent machines. WMA from CD is fine. Does anyone know of such a machine? Denon? Pioneer? DKM.

Whenever you see the WMA logo, it basically means WMA std. Don't know of any players that support WMA pro/lossless/etc. I guess maybe some of the newer Sigma based players? They do support WMV9, so presumably they support at least wma pro, but then some also support flac, so why bother with WMA?

It would appear that the KissDP-600 may do the trick. Available from 2o Jan. in the UK, but if anyone has any comment to make about it.....Price is reasonable (£250).
