I would like to convert some wma that accidently got encrypted back into wav files. Is there any software that can handle this?
correct term is converted, and how would you accidently convert a file? anyways, dBPowerAMP is a excellent free audio converting utility. You should easily find it by googling for it. Be sure to download the wma plugin from the codec page of the website
oh sorry, should have been a coma,,,, after encrypted. I have some wma files that accidently got encrypted... that I'd like to change to wav. but dbpoweramp refuses to convert them because of the encryption.
ah hah...I see your dilemma now. Those pesky protected files...not much out there that can convert them. The easiest option is to record them via the analog line-in on your soundcard, the use something like Audacity (free audio editor) to record the signal.
