WMPlayer displays Dark Video

    I recently downloaded and edited in Studio 9 Hubblesite videos, all the pictures are very dark in playing Windows Media player; so I tried to play my regular videos, not the Hubblesites, still play very dark and redish, cannot see it.
    Has the Goverment hacked my CPU or Motherboard Rom?
    Infact I deleted all the Hubblesite videos, formated Harddrive,reinstalled OS, but not vail????
    Do any one knows what's wrong????
