Hi Guys I wasnt sure where to post this. If it is in the wrong forum please move. I am trying to convert a wmv file to dvd. I have used dvd santa prior to this. Trying on this file i find that the audio is out of sync worse and worse towards the end. Any sugegstions?? Cheers Chris
Try converting with this. Playback the output with your media player before burning the folder to DVD. http://dl.afterdawn.com/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_v0.5.2b.exe Import the file(s) (AVI, WMV,MPEG, VOB) Output (standard DVD file format) to a folder on the HDD. Set 'Aspect' to 4:3 (if you have a regular tv) Set 'Standard' to NTSC (if you live in North America)
Thanx for that. I will give it a go tonight. I have also tried the convert using convertxtodvd but that one didnt have any sound when i played the vob files in windows media player. Not sure about that either. Cheers Chris
OK I tried using the VSO divx to dvd but the end product created was a VideoTS folder with a total size of 32kb. Something not right there. Please help Cheers Chris
Select output container 'vob DVD compliant'. After conversion, use the 'Play the last rendered file' button to test the output. It uses it's own player. SuperĀ© converts everything (almost) Information: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html Download from Afterdawn http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/super.cfm
Thanx for that Does super convert to DVD ????? or only one file type to another such as abvi to mpeg etc ? as i already have WMV file which i need to convert to dvd. cheers
When 'VOB DVD compliant' is selected as the output container, the resulting file can be authored and burned to disk by the likes of Nero without further conversion (which would cause more loss of quality). VOB is a special type of MPEG.
