If you encode the 320x240 file to Standard DVD Resolution (720x480) it will Look Like Total Crap on your TV set But if you Instead encode the Files to Mpeg-2/DVD Format at 352x240 then it will not look Nearly as Bad especially on a Smaller screen TV set....

Most Poeple Do not Realize that The DVD standard Supports Many Different Resolutions but most Poeple use the 720x480 NTSC or 720x576 Pal Resolution to Make DVD"s which is Good if you Have High Quality High Resolution Source Files but if you Don"t you will get Better quality useing one of the Other Valid DVD Resolutions.....

I make Quite a Few DVD"s From 320x240 WMV Files (Mostly Downloaded Pron) and they Turn out Pretty Good at this Resolution and when useing this Resolution you Don"t have to use a Very High Bitrate to get Good Quality (1500kbs is usually good enough) which Means that you can Fit MUCH more Video on a DVD...
At 1500kbs you can Fit about 6 Hours of Video on a Single DVD at 352x240 but when you are ready to author the 352x240 Mpeg-2 files to DVD you Have to use a Program That Supports these DVD Resolutions Like "Tmpgenc DVD Author" or "MediaChance DVDLab Pro" because many Lower end Programs Like Nero do not support these DVD resolutions....

    Cheers
