HI I HAVE A LOT OF MEDIA/VIDEO CONTENT AND I WAN WONDERING WHAT FOLDER DO I PUT THEM IN SO I CAN WATCH MOVIES ON MY JTAGGED 360 WITH STREAMIN I HATE STREAMIN I MEAN WHAT DO I DO?

 

Is this a external HDD or a HDD in the M$ case? AFAIK, you cannot play anything from the M$ drive only USB external for now.

 

OK I UNDER STAND THAT AS YOU PUT IT SO SIMPLE BUT I NEED TO KNOW HOW CAN I PLAY MY VIDEOS FROM THE EXTERNAL HDD....WHERE DO I PUT THEM AND WHAT PROGRAM DO I USE TO RUN THEM? XEX LOADER? I MEAN IM LOST PLEASE HELP

 

Any where on the external and you use the Xbox Dash video library.

You wont be able to play MKV's though.

Probbably. Test it and find out.

Files I have played include wmv, avi, mpg. There is probbably more.

i cant play avi and mp4 files because it says i need a media update but i dont want to take my jtag online is there anyway to do this without the risk

wats your problem man its not an idiot question i have asked this question before in another forum and nobody was able to answer because they hadnt come across this before and they didnt know if i could get the update file or if it would be safe to use so just back off and only reply if u actually have an answer i dont even think you read my post correctly

 

Well first off, MKV's aren't even supported unless there is a jtag app that will run it. Second caps is against the rules. Third you're spelling is amazing. Fourth, the answer is to use "Tversity". It will stream your media from your pc to your xbox and it's free.
