As far as i can see TDK is not a bad company but im still weary about it. To know the true manufacturer you may need to get a program called DVD Identifier. This program will tell you the true manufacturer of the disc. DVD Identifier Click on the link
i have tdk and they suck.and apparently i have the good tdk media code.they are made in taiwan so they are bad already.the ruin your laser quicker.dont take the risk.go to walmart or something and ssee if there are sony made in japan or maxell made in japan.
I had very good success with burns for about 3 100 spindals, however they were always MID coded as TTH02, and i knew what the MID code was going to be(bought all 3 from the same place,same format) when you buy them and dont know what the MID code is it could be CMC Mag, thats the risk you take when buying TDK and not knowing the MID Code. if it was me i would only get Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden
