Last batch of 25 color CDR's I picked up last year were made by CMC. Wouldn't burn well over 24x. My local Blockbuster had five 25 packs of the same Memorex discs for $1.99 each. I bought all 5, tested one with Plextools & guess what? It identified as Prodisc! Yes I prefer TY & Ritek media but I'll go ahead & burn these 125 discs for audio at either 8 or 16x. TY, Ritek & Prodisc burn fine (as audiodiscs) up to 32x. I haven't tried any faster even though my drive will do 52x simply because I believe slower burns give best results. I got great results with that CMC crap at 4x. Will try these at 8 & 16x and see what happens....

Just did a full disc (audio) test burn at 32x & all tracks played perfectly on my Durabrand CD walkman, my home stereo CD player plus my truck stereo. Thats pretty good!

    I hope so!

That local Blockbuster video store had eight 10 packs (with cases) of those color CDR's left (I had bought the last 25 packs on spindles) for $1.99 each so thats another 80 discs I can burn...
