Im trying to write a dvd movie that is in mpeg2 form but has dvd titles.

The entire thing is less than 700mb and i would like to write it to a cd-r but my sony dvd player will only recognise it as a cd and the message "No Audio Tracks Found" appears.

After i put the disc in the drive instead of the "dvd" light coming on it detects it as "cd".

Is there any way of fooling my dvd player into thinking my cd-r is a dvd disc, i know the menu's work as windvd play's it fine.

    Please help

Nope I'd doubt it, its very easy for a dvd player to tell what kind of media is being used!!

what you are refering to is known as mini dvd and for them to play in set top the player has to be compitible with mini dvd. Sense geting that you will most likelt have to purchase new player and sense got to spend money for it anyway just as well go for a bit more expense and get dvd burner anyway.
