    hello,
I'm using dvd shrink 3.2 and everything goes fine during the back-up process. I'm using nero to burn the dvd. Everything also goes fine with the burning process until the end when it comes to writing the lead-out. Half the time it fails and half the time it works. It doesn't give me much of an explanation except that it says it fails and then gives me some text about the process and times all these things happened. Does anyone have a solution?

    Hi and

    1) dvd shrink does not work with nero 8
    2) poor media can be problemmatic, this is why we recommend Taiyo Yudens
    3) do not burn faster than 1/2 of speed rating of disc
    4) do not multitask while burning

Post the Nero log that would have the adequate explanation.

Alright the previous answer to my question didn't really help. Here is what it says after it fails.

Moved to Nero forum as not a DVD Shrink issue.

Your burner doesn't like your discs...

Use quality media from Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

Slow your burn down to 8X with those discs.
