I am trying to burn some episodes of Fraggle Rock onto a DVD-R. Most episodes are around 25 minutes long. But for some reason, the duration is listed as 2 hours and 28 minutes in the episode's properties. So when I tried to burn it, only one episode will fit on a DVD-R. Does anyone know how I can correct the duration? Or, a way around the wrong duration so I can burn the DVD?

Hi, iluvendo! Thanks for responding. I have several episodes of tv shows as .avi files on my hard drive that I want to burn to DVD. I tried to use Sonic MyDVD to put together the episodes and burn the DVD but it gives me two errors: "Another application has exclusive access to the file (Sonic MyDVD)...Please shut down all other applications, then click Retry" and after I cancel I get a message along the lines of 'the codec needed to decode the media is not available on this system (47001)'. I have used MyDVD before and it worked fine; I cannot tell what other application it is refering to. So I read about DVD Flick and downloaded it to be the authoring program that I would use, and it did work but after adding one 30 minute episode, the disk space meter is reading 80% full. I then checked the episode's properties and saw it was reading as over 2 hours in length instead of the 30 minutes that it actually is. So, basically, I just want to be able to burn more than one episode on a DVD.

Try VSO ConvertXtoDVD. It isn't free, but it does the job.
