ok so my friend has a modded xbox with knaves dual boot. and he wanted it to be normal again so i hot swapped it but i messed up after i did what i needed i plugged it back in to the xbox and turned it off and rebooted it so now when i put a game in it says contact technical service but theres no error number or message oh and i didnt format e i only formatted c and put the default dash on there...i need some help so please answer fast. If it's not showing the "Microsoft" logo under the X you are in big trouble! You have the eeprom though right!?
Why in the world would you hot swap it? Just go back into the Knaves installer, and select uninstall soft mod..... Did you have another HDD in it too? If you did, just put the old one back in and boom. It will boot right away. Assuming the original HDD was still locked, you should not have a prob.

ok i DONT have the disc i used to install the mod with me so i hot swapped it to un mod it cuz i did it like 2 months ago and it was easy, but somethin went wrong of course and there is NOT an error 21 or 5 or any other errors like those there is just one that when you put a game in it says "your xbox needs maintinence please contact technical support" now that i've gone and fixed my sig and answered stupid questions to which you already know the answer and all you had to do is read...How The *bleep* can i fix it?...thank you to whoever answers this with an answer and not a question.
What the hell is wrong with the youth these days? I wanted more info SO I COULD HELP YOU!!!!!!!!! Back to business..... You state you already have the eeprom. Just rebuild the HDD using xboxhdm. Follow this guide. You should be able to rebuild the HDD. Have some patience. That is the best advice I can give you. If you get frustrated you will more than likely make a mistake like you did with the hotswap.
I'm sorry if i offended anyone, i'm just really frustrated, there are alot of personal things goin on right now and now my friends xbox is screwed up.
