I've tried a variety of methods, but the only way I can seem to get my xbit to boot properly is if I manually hold the chip firmly down in place. That 1 screw just doesn't seem to cut it... It flops all over the place. Sometimes the d0 just goes flying up into the air. Otherwise the other pogopins just don't seem to get enough pressure to boot properly. Any advice? I was considering taping the thing down. I just don't know what else to do to make it stay.
You stripped the threads inside the xbox where the screw goes in. You can go to the hardware store and try to find a screw slightly bigger that fits through the chip.
