I am going to mod up my xbox, and I want to know a couple of things. First, is the X-ecutor 2 PRO the best xbox mod chip out there? Is there a mod chip that supports LIVE games? and, what does the newest version of the X-ecotor 2 PRO improve upon? becuause I would be getting the X2.1 version. and finally, does the X-ecutor 2 PRO come with a switch for enabling/disabling the chip?
Oh, and one more thing, how easy is it to ruin an xbox while modding it. Ive modded 3 PS2's with messiah 2 Pros, and after I worked out a few problems, they worked perfectly. How much easier/harder is the installation?
Yes it comes with an external switch as standard and you can switch the Xecuter 2.1 PRO off to run XBOX live. Compared to a PS2 it's the easiest thing in the world to fit. The only slightly tricky point is the d0 bios disable point. But it shouldn't give you too much trouble. The only difference between the 2.0 and 2.1 as far as I'm aware is the no patch hack so it plays game that haven't been patched and they put blue leds on there and thats about it.
