I just did a fresh install and cant get my X-FI to install, installed the new drivers & old ones and removed card rebooted and then reinstalled the card to see if that would help. I keep getting the same issue & the card is not listed in the sound settings. I get the yellow triangle in the device manager with the error: Quote: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available. End Quote: What am I doing wrong and how to resolve this? I just did a fresh install. I know it works it was working fine yesterday before I decided to do a reinstall.
