Has anyone successfully backed up the new X-Men 2
    DVD?

I've tried the usual DVD Backup, but get errors - it won't
read the volume. I'm now trying 0SEx ....

Is this some new encryption method that's appeared??

Using OS X 10.3.1 on a G5, by the way.

    Thanks!

I ran into the same problem with my finding nemo DVD. I have not tried 0SEx. Lemme know how it turns out.
BTW, I have a ? on 0SEx. I used to seeing a Video_TS file after using DVD back up. But 0SEx gives me a vob file. Is it the same?

OSEx failed too. It didn't give the errors that DVDBackup did, but the results were unplayable.

    Back to the drawing board.

    Yeah.

I notice a symbol on the back for 'Copy Protected' that I've not seen before, so it may be some new protection format.

Ok guys, I had the same problems but I have found a way.
Insert XMen 2 DVD, launch osex and select DVD IMAGE option and start ripping.
You will get the image of the DVD. Double click on it to mount it. Launch DVD2One, select the Video_TS folder in the mounted image and staaaaaart it.
    It works perfectly!

Botolo: Thanks! It worked fine! OSEx to make an image, then DVD2ONEX to squash it, then Toast to burn it. Fab!

    You're a star.

jaxx: No, that's what I tried first, but it didn't work with my copy. DVDBackup complained a lot and after 2 hours, spat out a 550KB file of nothing. OSEx is the way, the truth and the dog's doo-dahs for this disk!
