Im a newbee to xbox modding. I had the X3 CE chip with the X3CP installed. I went to the spot and downloaded X3 3294 v16plus. I follow the steps on teamxecuter site to make a readable DVD, and when i burn it put in in it says. No BIos update found. Halting, I cant ever get it to network. That says DHCP Falled. Falling back to 192.168.0.99 I search the net almost to the end. I wasted about 10 dvd-r. And I cant find the answer to the questions? Can some one please help.
what is your xbox version? for ftp tutor, follow the link in my sig and look for it. Maybe you get a worng bios for your xbox version.
After install x3, turn on xbox you should see "Flash Bios 3.0.3". Then you can flash bios. If you see this and you can flash with dvd, then try to flash using network.
Thanks For all the help, this my second time writing in a form and both time i have had great people help. Also I tried both of those thing and still nothing.
yes the red light is on. do you see this type of problem often. Or am i just relay stupid and cant follow dirictions?
Sometime ppl forgot to unprotect the chip, so they can't flash bios. I dont have X3 so I can't tell you how to unprotect it. YOu have to read the manual how to unprotect it.
So it gotto be with the installation. Anyway, double check with this guide. Everything is in here http://teammodders.com/viewtopic.php?t=60
Yes I did. YOU dont have to change setting or anything. If you install it right, you will see the "Flash bios 3.0.3" on TV and you are able to flash bios by CD/DVD or Network.
I see the flash 3.0.1 I try to flash with disc and http and it says No BIos update found. Halting with a disc an when i try http network That says DHCP Falled. Falling back to 192.168.0.99.
You just need to know how to connect pc and xbox, how to setup Ip for pc and xbox for the tutor above. Then follow this http://home.comcast.net/~x3guide/Old/index.html
ok i have the x3 installed and working, change ur chips protect to the opposite that you have it on now then try, also i would recomend netwoking it over instead off wasting dvd-r's
