Alrite well, just recently, i kinda knicked my xbox on somethin as i was carrying it downstairs. I go to plug it in though and I get the frag error, flashing red and green. So i take it apart and check all my points to make sure everything is in check. All the lights turn on yet, it still blinks. Sometimes it lasts longer than other times, like its gunna start up but still flashes. The xapter looks like everything is in place, but when I stick the chip on over it, thats when it frags. I have no idea what the hell to do. And its not like its permanent and wont work because, sometimes i get lucky and it works..Also my D0 point is actually stuck in the hole..but I dont know if that would make a difference. Any help would be great, thanks.

I never had any lick with solderless chip. Always give me FRAG. Til I put in a X3 chip and soldered that bad boy in my xbox. Works like a charm everytime!

I agree. Just dump that friggin solderless thing and drop in the pin header. Just take your time and all will be good. The xapter while one of the best as far as solderless goes still has all the same problems of being solderless. Any little jar and it screws up. Oh yeah, if your pin is stuck in the d0 piont you overtightened the mounting screw. This can also cause some of the points to short. Pull the motherboard, flip it over and see if the solder point has been pushed off. Try a little heat to reset it if needed.
