I am planning to softmod my Xbox with XBMC.I plan on using this guide. http://consoledoc.com/splintercell.html I plan on using a usb flash drive to load the save game exploits.I made a xbox to usb adapter. Are there any other similar tutorials like the one above using the usb drive? I plan on getting the Agent Under fire 007. Where can I get a game exploit for this game Agent Under fire 007?
Thanks for taking time to reply back.I have everything set now,I just have to wait for the game to come in. My only main concern right now is coming upon error codes.Or the main MS dash will only load, but the unleash dash will not. The reason I say this is because the xbox will not be plugged in most of the time, only when it is in use. Therefore, that will make the xbox to not have a set internal clock each time. Will this have any effect on UnleashX not loading if the xbox's clock has to be reset each time I use it?Or will there any error codes that will prevent the softmod to not work properly again for the next time its in use after the softmod process has been sucessful. thanks guys
That is some of the best deductive reasoning I have seen in a while. For starters, grats on your softmod Now, I also unplug my Xbox when not in use, put a pillow case on it, and it remains dust free and will never get fried from the power outlet (so I hope). On that note, yes, your Xbox will reset the internal clock everytime you unplug the actual power cable from the outlet. Once that cord is cold, and cut off from any current, the internal clock will reset once your power on your Xbox. Now, I leave my Xbox cord plugged in, but I unplug from the Xbox. When I reconnect it, it powers up fine, internal time saved. I think that's why there is a small black cylinder right near the end of the 5V cable, stores the time? Other 5v cables I have used forget the time using the method I just told you. Lastly, coldboot your Xbox with NO CD inserted, and your softmod will start. If you boot your Xbox using the Eject button, or with a game inserted already, the softmod will NOT start, because your softmod is Xbox Live safe (allegedly). If your MS Dash comes up, take disc out or close CD tray, power off, power on. Before ThePirateBay is gone, goto google, type in "KillAllTheYuppies", and you will see the download for some good emulators. Once all files are downloaded, extract the first part to a new folder on your desktop, this will extract all 25 parts. Using a 2.5GB DVD/R or higher, burn the ISO image using ISO Recorder. Pop the DVD into your Xbox, you now have over 1000 original Nintendo, Atari, Sega, ETC classic games. I have had some problems using the DVD directly off the HD, but the DVD works fine, never any slow FPS, and so far only 4 roms I found didn't work. It's a great find, get it if you can. Pbay closes in August.
If the Ndure v1.1 softmod is utilized, will this prevent the clock loop issue? I heard that Ndure v1.1 patches the xbox. If the xbox is unplugged for days, the xbox just goes to the homebrew dashboard once the time is updated again. Is this correct? I just wanted to clarify this. Thanks.
