he not releasing the code though but it is a very big deal becuase that drive andthe 360's are similar...
I bet alot of people have jumped to work on the firmware soon someone will release a code out. But this could seriously hurt game sales, I mean a chip is one thing, people dont trust it and stuff but if you hack the drive to make it read burned games then people would go for that, a simple code input rather then soldering/connecting a chip that will kill xbox live feature aswell, plus no charge. I think maybe even xbox live would work with this firmware hack? :S
well to upgrade your firmware you will have to hook your 360 drive to your comp which most people will not want to do...
i think someone should release the firmware. then not only would it help the xbox community the will help the 360 as well
