hello all i have 2 xbox`s fitted with xecuter 2.6 ce solderless chips and up to now ( about 1 1/2 years or so ) all is well , still boot any backups flawlessly . the question i have is , is it possible to flash the dvd rom drive of an xbox in able to play any backup ? i was wondering that instead of installing a chip i could just flash the dvd rom drive , just like we have to do with the xbox 360 ! does anyone know iff any firmware exists that enables me to do this . i ask about the firmware flashing as friends and family now are after me chipping their xbox`s and i was wondering iff flashing the drives could be possible . thanx for your replies , woof .
