i am about to buy an xbox made in 2003 would it still be good to put a hardrive in where in qld(australia) cani have it done what is best a hdd or a modchip what is the estimated price
An xbox made in 2003 should be fine. I probably would stay away from ones made before 2003 or 2002. The first versions of the xbox are kind of crappy and tend to break down often, but any version will work with a hard drive so it really doesn't matter but remember that the first xboxes that came out are now almost 5 years old and that is old for electronics. I would suggest a softmod as it is cheaper, but if you want a chip then get the xecuter 3. Search on google for someone that does xbox mods in austrailia. Also, check out craigslist.org and see if they have any cities near you on their list of locations. Hope that helps. -Brice
