Xbox 360 and Sony Trinitron

    I have a sony trinitron that has component cable hookups. When I hook up my 360 through the component cables and switch it to hdtv I get a scrabled picture. Any suggestions?

    I have the same Tv, and the same problem, i would love to see some input from some other ppl with any suggestions, or answers to this problem.

    100% sure you have a HDTV? Need to know the model numbers. I have a Sony Trinitron with component hookups, but it is NOT a HDTV.

    See here if your Sony supports hi def (Did you change the resolution in your console settings?):

    Question/Answer 154 on coldforged site.....some TV's have 2 sets of component inputs, 1 supports high definition, 1 doesn't. You could be using the inputs that don't support hi def, resulting in a scrambled picture.
