I have an IBM ThinkPad R60 laptop and I just recently bought a VGA adapter for my xbox 360. I just read something on another forum that mentioned something about needing a turner card in order to do so. I was just wondering if this would work for me: Sabrent Premium TV Tuner Box for LCD and CRT Monitor with Picture in Picture (PiP) w/ High Resolution 1280x1024. I saw it on a website but I don't want to buy it without knowing whether it will work or not.
Um it'll only work if your tuner card includes a vga input because you bought the vga adapter, but most tv tuners include regular composite cables so you could hook your 360 via that. But if you want to hook it up through vga make sure the tuner has vga input.
With TV Tuners there is usually noticable lag-time when using a console. I once tried Halo 2 on my capture card and it was impossible to play.
