Hey I just bought a 360 & I have my xbox through ics & i have xbmc on it, what i needed to do was use a bridge for xbox live on the 360 cuz it doesnt work with ics for some reason or at least i cant get it to, so now if i have the network bridge up i cant use ics, so what i need is either help to get the 360 to work on ics or help to get the xbox to work with network bridge, i need to be able to stream from the computer to xbmc though, so any help would be accprciated very much, thanks
how is your computer connected to your modem through the Ethernet or through USB...also how many ehternet ports do you have on your computer???if ICS is working on your original Xbox then it should work on the 360 i dont know why it would'nt make sure your Wind0ws firewall is off......
well my firewall is off ive hated the windows firewall since day one, & my computer is like this, i have an ethernet port on my board(VIA RHINE) & a linksys(boo! i hate linksys) NIC, the 360 works with the bridge & the xbox will connect with it, i've tried doing the weather thing in xbmc & it connects & tells me but i cant get my streams from my network to work, i dunno what the ip would be, like when i have it ICS my ip for network shares are 192.168.0.1 to connect to the card, but when i set it up bridged i dunno what the ip for shares is, if i fix this then i dont think i need to touch anything else they'll work that way both in their on way, only thing is i dunno what to make my XBMC share IPs, my computer IP is 192.168.2.13 but that wont work if i do it, & my router is 192.168.2.1 & also wont work, my shared folders on my computer are wide open to the network so i think they should work, now here is the part where if i was told wrong then i'll feel stupid for but i was told when i briged my connection to turn off everything in properties except tcp/ip if i turn on file sharing will it then work? i just thought of this now, but i was told that they need to be off & if they were to work would i use my router ip or my computer ip?
