Try cleaning out the CACHE folders on the Xbox (dont delete the CACHE folders delete the files in them) Do this by either FTPing to your Xbox or by using your dashboard file explorrer. Also go to your gamesaves and delete any that are with the game your trying to play. Could be a corrupt gamesave.

Also make sure the below settings are set...

    IGR OFF
    TSR to Disable
    Game region to AUTO

hi Larry I set all the required settings as you requested and now i get a "the disk may be dirty or Damaged" error mesaage at variopus parts of the game, but never the same part. just after about 5 or so mins?

Any ideas? So copied games work fine with no problems

    Thanks

It is either your DVD drive that is borked, or you have discs that are burned either on poor media, or burned poorly.

More then likly it is the Media you are using. Id try diffrent media. Xbox can be picky when it comes to DVD Blank Media. Get better quility media.

I had a problem like that with NFS Most Wanted. I change the burn speed in Nero for 8x to 4x and made a new copy. Works great.
