    Hi

I was hoping to get some help if possible about backing up xbox games...

I have ftp'd some games from my xbox to my HDD...

I am trying to XISO them, ive used both 'XISO' and 'Craxtion' which both make the ISO fine but when we use Record Now to burn, it burns the game fine but my xbox will not read it or boot it :(

Ive checked the game and there is data on the disk, but even when i try and install the game from the disk to my HDD it tells me
that there is '0' Bytes on the disk...

The disk is a rewritable, as i dont want to ruin normal blanks...

    All help is very appreciated!

    Thanks
    Harlequin

Not that this is the answer you are looking for, but with Record Now, it is not necessary to create an ISO.

If you burn the files directly, using data, and UDF 128 . . . it works fine.

Make sure the default.xbe is at the root and not the directory name.

are you patching the default.xbe files? craxtion has a patcher in the tools menu. what games are you trying to do, and what bios and chip are you running?

    Hi Guys

Thanks for that, I didnt patch the xbe (DOH!)
Craxtion is great, i only read up about doing that after i posted :)

I got Xecuter2 chip and EvoX software...

So do i path the .xbe file and then ISO and then burn?

    Much Appreicated!

from what i hear, the newest executer bios eliminates the need for patching, but it wouldn't hurt i suppose to do it anyway. nad yes thats correct, ftp, patch, iso, burn.
